Adoption is a lifelong process. Caring Choices’ post-adoption and search programs offer a continuum of services that respect the relationships among all members of the adoption triad – the adoptee, the birth parents, and the adoptive parents. Caring Choices also provides information and referrals for those seeking additional counseling for any issues related to placing a child for adoption, being adopted, or parenting. 

 

The programs also benefit adult adoptees, allowing adoptees as far back as the 1940s to access their legal files and/or contact their birth families when possible. Birth parents may also use this service to help connect them with their birth children post-adoption.
